Redfield 64, Britton-Hecla 21
REDFIELD — The Redfield Pheasants raced to a 42-14 lead at the halftime break and eased home with a 64-21 win over the Britton-Hecla Braves in girls’ basketball action Thursday night. Redfield moves to 6-4 with the win, while the Braves fall to 1-5.

Addison Rozell scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace the Pheasants to the win. Camryn Rohlfs added 11 points and Alison Larson had seven boards.

Britton-Hecla was led by Alyssa James’ eight point effort.

Redfield is back in action Tuesday, when it hosts Hitchcock-Tulare.

REDFIELD — Emilee Fox had a game-high 24 points to lead Mt. Vernon/Plankinton to a 59-50 victory against Redfield on Tuesday.

Maria Baker also reached double figures for the Titans, who improved to 7-2, with 19 points.

Addison Rozell had 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead Redfield, which is now 5-4. Chelsa Smith and Faith Jandel added 14 and 11 points, respectively.

REDFIELD — The Redfield Pheasants flew to a 19-5 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back Thursday, en route to a 62-39 win over the Britton-Hecla Braves in boys’ basketball action.

For Redfield, which improves to 8-2 on the season, Jaxson Frankenstein scored 18 points and completed the double-double with 11 rebounds in the contest. Isaac Suchor added 14 points for the Pheasants.

Joel James scored 11 points and claimed eight boards to pace the Braves, who fall to 1-7 on the season, while Dawson Wade added 10 points.

Redfield hosts Hitchcock-Tulare on Tuesday night.

REDFIELD — With the help of nine 3-pointers, Redfield escaped with a 67-65 win against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday.

Jaxson Frankenstein had a trio of 3-pointers en route to 23 points for the Pheasants, who improved to 7-2. Isaac Suchor had 15 points, while Peyton Osborn had 13 points, including a trio of 3-pointers. Paul Juarez added eight points.

Thomas Shantz and Frankenstein shared the rebounding honors for Redfield with 10 boards each.

Mt. Vernon/Plankington, which is now 2-7, was led by Reed Rus with a game-high 26 points. Rylee Deinert added 13 points, while Nathan Hohn had eight points and 15 rebounds.
