Miller 50, Wessington Springs 25
WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Miller built a 28-7 lead in the opening half en route to a 50-25 victory against Wessington Springs on Thursday.
Kadye Fernholz led the Rustlers with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. VonnaGail Schlechter and Abby Ketelhut added 11 points each.
Avery Orth had nine points to lead Wessington Springs, while Grace Gran added six points. Piper Jones snagged six rebounds and Makayla Dornbusch had two assists.
Miller, which is now 11-5, travels to play Todd County on Saturday. Wessington Springs (3-15) will face Kimball/White Lake in Kimball on Tuesday.
