Clark/Willow Lake 64, Arlington 29
WILLOW LAKE — The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones ultimately scored all the points they would need in the first half of play Friday night, racing to a 34-16 lead at the midway point and cruising to a 64-33 win over the Arlington Cardinals in the regular season finale for both teams.

Sullivan Felberg led the Cyclones, scoring 16 points off the bench, while Emmerson Larson added 14 points and had eight rebounds. Aaron Zemlicka chipped in 10 points.

Riley Miller was the lone Cardinal in double figures with 13 points and Blake Madsen had six rebounds.

Both teams will begin post season action next week, with schedules and opponents remaining to be set.

TULARE — The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots closed the regular season Friday night, with a 66-57 win over the Northwestern Wildcats in non-conference boys’ basketball.

H-T pulled away in the fourth quarter, after the teams were tied at 50 after three periods.

The Patriots, 8-12, were led by Erik Salmen’s 35 points and 10 rebounds, while teammate Jackson Maynard added 14 and 10.

Northwestern finishes the regular season 5-15. They were led by Dallas Stoltenberg’s 16 points, while Lincoln Woodring added 13 and Nathan Melius chipped in 11.

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — The Wessington Springs Spartans closed the books on a sparkling 19-1 regular season Friday night, with a 67-49 win over the Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks.

Ryder Michalyk scored 22 points and snagged eight rebounds to lead the Spartans, while Parker Graff added 16 points and Brock Krueger chipped in 13.

No statistics were available for the Blackhawks, who end the regular season with a record of 9-11.
