Members of the Huron High School Quiz Bowl team - from left, coach Lindsey Brewer, and competitors Katie Schoenfelder, Tyson Lien, Aubrey Rutledge and Shelby VandenHoek, have qualified for the finals in the Q107-FM radio quiz bowl. The finals take place on Saturday, at the Pepsi-Cola Theater of the Performing Arts in Mitchell, beginning at 9 a.m. Huron’s first round opponent is Platte-Geddes and the winning team at the quiz bowl takes home $1,000. From the 32 teams that began competition this fall, only the top eight advanced to the finals this weekend. Huron defeated Parker, Dakota Christian and Winner to advance.
The team encourages everyone to come and watch live on Saturday in Mitchell or listen to Q107.3.
