Members of the Sunday school at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Iroquois, brought items they had collected to the Salvation Army food pantry. The youth canvased church members to collect donations for the Salvation Army, beginning at 4:30 p.m. just east of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and finishing 80-plus miles later in Huron around 7 p.m., collecting from over 30 church families. They had fun keeping track of every item that they picked up to earn scavenger hunt points, so they, as a group, can try to beat it again next year. They collected over 260 items again this year! Back row, from left, are Kali Burma, Kera Dubro and Kelby Dickson; and in front, Lexi Burma and Katie Dubro.
