HURON — A deep field in eight divisions took to the links at Broadland Creek Golf Course Wednesday, as the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour made a stop on the Huron course.
A pair of Huron golfers topped their age/gender group Wednesday, as Alexa Goertz shot a nine-hole total of 68 to share top honors in the 11-and-under girls’π division with Kyley Wirebaugh of Aberdeen.
Huron's Landon Roberts won the boys' 12/13 division, with an 80.
The boys' 11-and-under medalist honors was claimed by Kaden Rylance of Watertown, with a nine-hole score of 43, to take a three-stroke win.
Aberdeen's Leah Gough took the girls' 12-13 division, carding a 94 to edge Huron's Bryn Huber, while fellow Aberdeen golfer Danielle Podoll shot 85 to earn medalist honors in the girls' 14-15 division. Huron's Kenya Bigelow was second and Karlie Bigelow was third.

Next, Brynn Huber finished second in the 12-13 girls’ division.
Next, Austin Boomsma of Wessington was fourth in the 16-18 division.
Next, Karlie Bigelow finished third in the girls’ 14-15 division.
