SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State’s Trent Francom picked up his second Summit League Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honor in as many weeks, as announced by the conference office Tuesday.
He shared the honor with South Dakota’s Ethan Bray after their pole vault performances at Saturday’s USD Early Bird.
Both cleared 18 feet, 5 inches at the meet – tied for the league lead and sixth in the nation. The senior from Huron again broke his own school record in the event.
