Huron High School Educators Rising group took part in its first State Conference and Competition on Feb. 28, on the campus of Northern State University in Aberdeen. The Huron group had six competitors in four different events: Interactive Bulletin Board, Children’s Literature, Lesson Plan & Delivery and Creative Lecture.
Two of the HHS teams qualified for Nationals this summer in Washington, D.C., including Samantha Swanson and her interactive Bulletin Board while Swanson and Green Ta Bah qualified in Children’s Literature, with their children’s book “The Lonely Ghost.”
