MITCHELL – After holding a lead for much of the game, Huron’s 13U team saw Mitchell explode with a six-run bottom of the seventh inning to take the lead. Bischoff gave way to Jeremy Hofer, who allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, striking out three.
Blaise Simmon came in to pitch the ninth inning, but he allowed in the final run without recording an out.
