HURON — The Huron girls’ tennis team hosted a trio of Eastern South Dakota Conference teams in a quadrangular meet on Saturday at Huron Courts.
Mitchell emerged with a 9-0 victory against the Tigers.
“Audrey Rubish and Kayla Harvey had a great doubles match against Mitchell and almost pulled out a win,” Huron coach Rachel Kary said.
Abery Larson and Kelsey Dahme, who make up the No. 1 doubles team for Mitchell needed an 8-6 decision in a tiebreaker to win the match after the two teams battled to an 8-8 deadlock.
Brandon Valley inked an 8-1 win against Huron.
Rubish secured the lone win on the day for the Tigers with a 10-7 victory in the No. 2 singles match.
Aberdeen Central recorded a 9-0 win against Huron.
The Tigers will host another quadrangular on Saturday at Huron Courts, beginning at 10 a.m.
