HURON – After Watertown cancelled due to weather, an invitational became a dual meet Friday night, with Huron facing Mitchell in gymnastics.
Mitchell’s club split to Mitchell 1 and Mitchell 2. The Mitchell 1 club won the team portion of the meet with 148.45 points. Huron scored 124.5 points on the evening.
Mitchell’s Joslin Sommerville won the all-around competition with a 37.3 score. Huron’s top finisher in the all-around was Eastyn Eichstadt, who finished tenth with a total score of 32.2.
Maiya Hein finished tied for fourth in vault for Huron at 8.9, while Eastyn Eichstadt and Cameron Ruth finished tied for 10th in the event at 8.65, the only event that the Tigers placed in the individual top 10 on the evening.
