ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Ryan Wager of Huron has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer and track and field careers at Northwestern College.
Wager is a multi-sport athlete who lettered five years for the James Valley Christian School soccer team. Wager scored 49 goals and accumulated 30 assists over the course of his career and earned first team all-conference honors two years. He is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in math education at Northwestern.
“Ryan has incredible work ethic and is a great teammate,” commented Northwestern head coach Dan Swier. “Student-athletes like Ryan have a positive impact on their teammates, not just on the field but in all aspects of life. We are confident that Ryan will do the same during his time at Northwestern.”
