To the Editor:
I am writing in response to the letter from a reader in Wednesday’s Plainsman.
The writer claims to be a food delivery truck driver for the Huron School. However, we do not employ anyone named Steve Fischer, and we do not believe any of our food suppliers employ anyone by that name either.
The opinions expressed in the letter do not reflect those of the Huron School District. We appreciate the efforts to improve the condition of streets in the City of Huron. We highly value our working relationship with the City of Huron Street Department and all the other departments and offices in the city.
We are disappointed that the school’s name was used in a negative way with the City of Huron, and we want to clarify the situation. Thank you.
Dr. Kraig Steinhoff,
