Huron — The South Dakota Music Education Association will present Middle School All State Orchestra, taking place at Rapid City Central High School on February 21-22.
Huron is proud to announce the following Huron Middle School students accepted to the orchestra: Joy Trautman (8th grade cellist), Blut Kue Ler (7th grade violinist), and Logan Gerrits (7th grade bassist). Their orchestra teacher is Beth Neitzert.
SDMEA is proud to bring the Middle School All State Orchestra to Rapid City for the second time. The Middle School All State Orchestra event is in conjunction with the J. Laiten Weed Honors Orchestra and the SDMEA String Symposium where string teachers from across the state join for continuing education.
The public is invited to attend the Grand Finale concert at Rapid City Central High School at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 22. Admission is $5.00 per adult, students are free, and tickets may be purchased at the door.
