HURON — Inez Muilenburg, general manager at Super 8 in Huron, was presented the Ruth Ziolkowski Outstanding Hospitality & Customer Service Award at the 2019 Governor’s Conference on Tourism held Thursday night in Pierre.
In its second year, the Ruth Ziolkowski award, which honors tourism industry professionals who display outstanding and genuine hospitality to visitors, was given to four members from across the state.
Muilenburg was not able to be present to accept the award. The Huron Chamber & Visitors Bureau accepted on her behalf.
Other winners of the award were Amanda Allcock from Crazy Horse Memorial, Nova Steinhauser from the Platte Creek Lodge, and Jaqueline Wentworth from the Sioux Falls CVB.
