My name is Hannah Schoenfelder. This is my third year in 4-H with the Heartland 4-H Club. Oct. 1-7 was National 4-H week and October starts our new 4-H year. Some of my favorite project areas are visual arts, food and nutrition (cooking and baking), rabbits, home environment, and clothing. This year I also participated in Fashion Revue and learned how to pick school clothes that are low in cost but still good quality. I also enjoy doing demonstrations and cooking in the Special Foods Contest. I enjoy being in 4-H because I can show indoor exhibits as well animals. I have met many new people, found new friends, and had a lot of fun.
4-H offers many different project areas that you can choose to explore and learn more about. If you are interested in finding out more about 4-H, you can go online to www.igrow.org, or contact your local Extension Office to find a club near you. I hope you decide to join the FUN!
Sincerely,
