The cast of James Valley Christian School’s one-act play has advanced to the State Festival, set for Feb. 1-3 at Brandon Valley High School. They qualified at the Region 5B One-Act competition on Jan. 24 at the JVC Auditorium. The cast is scheduled to take the stage with their production of “Usernames” at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 2.

The following members of the cast earned Outstanding Acting Awards at regions: Belle Niederbaumer, Micaiah Brantner, Natalie Hamilton, Jonathan Koel, Hope Mendel, Elaina Hohm. The play is directed by Jill Mendel and Cindy Niederbaumer.

Cast members include, in the front from left: Emily Schutt, Elaina Hohm, Hope Mendel, Natalie Hamilton, Nastasia Scholl, Micaiah Brantner and Ally Hohm. In the back are: Belle Niederbaumer, Christopher Krogstad, Rebecca Stahl, Jonathan Koel, Elisabeth Hamilton, Olivea Gross, Landon Schutt and Elijah Bishop.
