HURON — The Pierre T.F. Riggs wrestling team tallied 57 points to defeat Huron, which had 12 points, Friday night at the Huron Middle School.
Tyson Lien took a win for the Huron Tigers at 152 pounds with an 8-1 decision over Lee Snyder, while TahJae Jenkins Harris claimed the second win on the night for Huron, with a pin at three minutes and 11 seconds over Jaret Clarke at the 160 pound weight class. The final victory on the night for the Tigers was taken by Gabriel Rieger, weighing 182 pounds, with a close 5-4 decision over Pierre’s Garrett Leesman.
Huron will compete at the Aberdeen Invitational today for more varsity wrestling action.
