Wesley and Mary Brist house a great deal of memorabilia at their home in Broadland. The memorabilia belonged to Wesley’s uncles, Harry Moilan and Edwin Moilan, who were two of only 92 survivors of the more than 1,000 men aboard the USS Arizona on Dec. 7, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japanese bombers.
The couple shows photographs of the uncle’s respective company graduations from bootcamp in San Diego, Calif.
Next, a corner of the couple’s living room is dedicated to the memorabilia and a collection of medals awarded to the Moilans.
