HURON — Hunters bagged a bounty of pheasants during the annual Ringneck Festival held Saturday and Bird Dog Challenge on Thursday and Friday.
Taking home top prize in the Ringneck Festival were the Hawkeye Hunters from Iowa, who hunted on land owned by Reg and John Derkson. Scorekeepers were Leah Gosch and Troy Nelson.
The first place prize was a Benelli Montefeltro gun given to each team member and landowner.
Second place went to the Six Shooters team with members from Arkansas and Oklahoma. They hunted on land owned by Greg and John Grunt, with scorekeepers Katie Ball and Gail Styer. Each team member and landowner received a Franchi Affinity 3 gun.
