MADISON — The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) is proud to announce the listing of fall sports Champions of Character recipients. Included in the group selected is Ashley Robinson, a women’s cross country runner from Huron who graduated from Wolsey-Wessington High School. Robinson’s highlight performance for the 2017 season was a personal best time and 19th-place finish at the NSAA Cross Country Championships in November.
Through the Champions of Character program, the NAIA and the NSAA schools provide training for student-athletes and professional development for coaches and staff by emphasizing the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership. Each member institution has a team member that best represents these core values
