Chad Schroder, City of Huron’s Parks and Recreation Director, spoke to Kiwanis members about the Splash Central Waterpark.
The waterpark has been in operation for 10 years. The plan, pending on weather, is to have the park re-open May 24, in time for the Memorial Day weekend. The waterpark averages 60-65 employees throughout the summer. The Parks & Rec Department will have open interviews on Jan. 10. The goal for 2024 is to hire 80 employees for the waterpark during the summer.
