HURON — The Huron Tiger boys’ soccer team came away with a near-shutout win Thursday afternoon at Tiger Field, as they held the Harrisburg Tigers scoreless until the 77th minute of play, en route to a 7-1 win.
“We did a great job tonight of keeping possession of the ball,” said Huron coach Leah Branaugh. “I was a bit worried as we haven’t played a game since Sept. 2, but the boys’ did a great job.”
Huron started slowly, getting a goal from Baht Khim to take a 1-0 lead to the half.
