Competitors from across the state gathered at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds for the 2019 Special Olympics Equestrian Competition, which was held Monday and Tuesday at the Hippodrome.
In the second photo, Carmen Lester of Rapid City shows her horse “Java,” during the Showmanship Class in the halter level on Tuesday.
Next, Isaac Sheeham of Watertown lines up his horse “Virgil,” for the judge, as Craig Johnson of Aberdeen moves into place with “Zeva.”
And next is Craig Johnson of Aberdeen who competed in showmanship on Tuesday morning.
