Arguably the longest season in South Dakota — construction — is heavily underway in Huron.

In the photo above, city crews work on a section of 4th Street at the Wisconsin Ave. SW intersection, while below, underground water and sewer lines are replaced in the area of 6th and Beach Ave. SE.

At the same time, work continues on Phase 2 of Wheatgrass Village in Southtown and a plethora of new home construction is underway through the city.
