More than 60 children took part in the Trunk N Treat and Costume Contest sponsored Oct. 4 by the Broadland United Methodist Church.
Over 25 Trunk N Treat stops were provided by local residents and church volunteers for the children to stop at.
Donations were also collected for the local food pantry.
Callee Bauman Wachter, who organized the event, said, “This year our annual outreach focused on community kids and providing a safe avenue for family fun in the midst of COVID-19 concerns. Our event allowed a safe and fun alternative to traditional Trick Or Treating.”
