An accident Tuesday morning in northern Huron. According to the Huron Police Department, a semi-tractor was south bound on Dakota Avenue and struck a north-bound Pontiac Bonneville, which preliminary investigations show was attempting a left-hand turn. The driver of the car was transported to Huron Regional Medical Center with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries. It appears that visibility with the large snow windrow on the street may be a factor, however, the accident remains under investigation by the HPD.
