The VOILA! Music Studio recently awarded National Federation of Music Clubs gold cups to the following recipients:

• Pick Style Guitar Solo (2021): Riley Winegar Second cup and Colten Meyer First cup;
• Piano Solo (2021): Emily Larson and America Preston, both First cups;
• Piano Solo (2022): Emily Larson, Carli Winegar, Idella Meyer, and Arianna Langbehn, all First cups.

Each student participating in the local Huron Junior Festival is required to memorize two pieces and perform them for a rating from an adjudicator. Points are accrued from year to year. Cups are earned for every 15 points. Barb Valer is the instructor.
