ORANGE CITY — Former James Valley Christian standout Nathan Wedel was named this week’s Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Wedel helped fifth-ranked Northwestern College to wins against Presentation and Doane last week.
The 6-4 senior from Yale, averaged 26 points and 6.5 rebounds in the two games. He shot 83 percent and 27 points in the GPAC opener against Doane.
