The Heartland 4H Club decorated a tree for the Huron Area Arts Council/Huron Event Center Christmas Tree Exhibit, which will be on display through Jan. 10. Along with being beautiful, there is a box beneath the tree for people to donate hat, gloves, scarves, etc., that will be donated to local schools for children in need. Everyone is invited to make a donation to help keep a child warm. This year the club has set a goal to perform a community service project each month. The collection of warm weather wear at this year’s tree is the club’s service project for December.
