HURON — People of all ages gathered in the American Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall to boil 180 pounds of potatoes — enough to make 98 dozen lefses!
It was a fun two-day process to get ready for the ALC Fall Festival planned Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the ALC Fellowship Hall. The event will begin with an ethnic foods bake sale at 8 a.m., featuring lefse, kuchen, krumkake, etc.
Fresh baked rolls and coffee will be served from 8 to 10 a.m.
