Beadle County Treasurer’s office staff were big winners in this year’s holiday courthouse door decorating contest, winning both the judged competition and the Traveling Leg Lamp Trophy as well as a new People’s Choice category and a gift certificate for a one-hour massage from Candace Moore Massage. Shown with their “Golden Girls” door theme are, seated, Rita Cleveland, and standing, from left, Shelly VanWyhe, Nicki Mallon and Jacque McCaskell.
Many of the other doors in the Beadle County Courthouse were also decorated this year, in various ways, to reflect the spirit of the season. Shown next is the Grinch that graced the door to the Sheriffi’s office.
Next are holiday greetings from around the world courtesy of the Veteran’s Service Office.
Next is a brightly wrapped package from the courthouse maintenance crew.
And next is an inviting take on Candy Cane Lane at the Register of Deeds office.
