Bernard Dean King, 95, formerly of St. Lawrence

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. — Bernard Dean King, 95, formerly of St. Lawrence, passed away July 31, 2020, at Lund Adult Family Home in Battle Ground, Wash.


A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Cemetery.


Bernard was born June 1, 1925, in rural Platte, to William and Mary (Martin) King.


 On February 2, 1945, he married Joyce Vogelgesang of Highmore.


He is survived by daughter, Karen (Randy) Hedge; daughters, Julie (Charlie) Gaetze and Linda (Robert) Hoffman; son-in-law, Gary Jensen (husband of Kathy Jensen); 11 grandchildren; 16 great -grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Janet; daughter, Kathy; five brothers; and three sisters.
