Buchanan K/1 Center celebrated Unity Day Wednesday. Unity Day is a nationwide event intended to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. It promotes being united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. To celebrate and show support students and staff participated in wearing orange and wearing orange crowns. Classrooms had lessons on bullying and showing kindness. Each class also signed a puzzle piece that was assembled in the cafeteria as a visual to show each class coming together in Unity against bullying.
