HURON — Like many other organizations around the nation, Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is celebrating National Volunteer Month, in appreciation of the many individuals who give of their time, talents and energy to help the hospital care for the people of this region.
April contains National Volunteer Week, which was established in 1974 when President Richard Nixon signed an executive order establishing the week as an annual celebration focusing on the impact and power of volunteerism and service as an integral aspect of our civic leadership.
