Meet Ranndolf, the friendly Elf on a Shelf at Huron Regional Medical Center! Ranndolf will be popping in throughout the month to share holiday cheer at the hospital this Christmas.
Ranndolf (a.k.a. Paul Rann, executive director of the HRMC Foundation) and Katie Reno, Foundation Development Assistant, came up with the HRMC Elf idea to foster interest in South Dakota’s Day of Giving on Dec. 4. They set a goal of raising $2,000 for the Foundation, and vowed that if they surpassed that goal, Rann would become an Elf on a Shelf for the hospital. The day ended with more than $2,000 donated, and Ranndolf, the friendly Elf was born.
The funds raised will be used to create 50 Comfort Care bags for Hospice families.
Everyone is encouraged to keep an eye out for Ranndolf the friendly Elf at HRMC! Follow his antics on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram (@hrmc_huron) for updates on HRMC’s favorite Elf!
