HURON — The Huron Youth Leadership Council was recognized for its work to support the local community by receiving an honorable mention in the annual Student United Way awards competition hosted by United Way Worldwide.
The Community Champions awards program recognizes individual members and student United Way groups globally who have excelled in the areas of community leadership, marketing and communications and innovation.
The Huron Youth Leadership Council received an honorable mention in this year’s competition and was recognized for their creativity and impact.
