To the Editor:
I was having a problem recently with my refrigerator. So, I went to a local appliance store and told them my problem. They asked how old it was and when I said it was 20 years old, I was told that it doesn’t like me any more.
So, I picked one out, paid cash and was then told delivery would be three days later.
Now who, in this day and age, can get by with no fridge that long?
But I can go get groceries, gas, beer, cigarettes and pick out a different vehicle, all on the same day.
You make a doctor appointment and you get to see a PA, for the same price as a doctor.
That seems like a rip-ff for Medicare and insurance companies.
Now how much does a coroner get paid to prove you are dead? And is there a hauling-off and delivery charge to the morgue?
