To the Editor:

While I was sorry to hear of country singer Toby Keith’s recent passing, I was inspired that he was very open and honest about his faith and how it helped him to in no way fear death.

He also spoke very highly of the love and support of his dear family.

He credited his dear wife of 40 years for being a real trooper and telling him, “Hey, we got this!”

Having seen him in concert several times, I know he loved God and our country, and was always very vocal in his appreciation for our military.

God bless you, Toby. Rest in peace.
