To the Editor:

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas in spite of the lousy weather. It’s always nice to see family, and friends over the holidays. I’m not so sure about the “Happy New Year” yet. I’m not sure if it will be any better than 2023 as long as the Trumpster is always in the spotlight.

He seems to be able to get supporters just like a fresh cow pie can get flies. This is even when he quotes dictators like Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler. I don’t get it, voters should be running away from this guy rather than supporting him. Do we really want a dictator as well?

I have another question for those who like Trump and think he’s a fine fellow. Why is he asking an appeals court to grant him immunity for tampering with the Georgia election, if he did nothing wrong? Don’t you ask for immunity if you are guilty?

I think it would be a “Happy New Year” if people would just step back, and take another look at this guy. He is running on revenge, and wants nothing more than to be another Putin or Hitler.

As for the evil President Biden, on Sept. 12, an investigation into impeaching him was started by the Republican Speaker of the House, Mr. McCarthy.  That was last year, and they still have not found any grounds to carry out their impeachment process. Such an evil man.
