To the Editor:
Kindness Appreciated!
We stayed in Huron last Saturday, on our way home from our vacation. When we came out of church at Holy Trinity, we saw that we had a flat tire. Several kind people stopped and asked if we needed help. We thought we could handle it but ran into a snag.
As we were trying to contact Triple A, a man in a red truck drove up and asked if we needed help. We explained our challenge and within minutes he jacked up our car and changed the tire. We offered to pay him but he wouldn’t take any money.
The man was Jared Beck. We are so grateful for your kindness, Jared. You reinforced our belief that there are many kind people in this world.
