To the Editor:

Last week was National Volunteer Week! I work at the Huron Regional Medical Center one afternoon each week at the Main Desk in the lobby.  At this station we deliver newspapers and flowers, help patients find their appointment site, answer questions and man the gift shop.

There are two other sites for volunteering - those being Radiology and the Towers gift shop. I enjoy getting out of the house for a few hours and seeing the people coming and going. Plus I feel like I am really helping out. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please call Bonnie Sheridan at 605-354-1233.
