A free concert performance by William Florian is planned at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Huron Public Library.
“Those Were the Days” is an upbeat, uplifting, musical journey of America’s greatest folk and pop songs of the ‘60s. Florian’s performance includes amusing stories, hit songs he performed with the New Christy Minstrels, and favorites from Peter Paul & Mary, Pete Seeger and The Mamas & The Papas. A special tribute to John Denver will also be included in this performance. This lively and entertaining event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
