HURON — Suicide touches thousands of families each year and the Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk and fundraiser was created to call attention to the impact that suicide makes.
This year’s Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., today, Sept. 12, at Campbell Park in downtown Huron.
Registration for the event begins at 9 a.m. and the walk will be held in conjunction with and the support of the Huron Farmer’s Market, which takes place in Campbell Park from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Contact Annette Bowen, the Out of the Dark organizer, for more details, or come down to Campbell Park.
