HURON — The South Dakota STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering and Math) Educational Conference returns to the Huron Event Center, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2 and 3.
“In the face of escalating challenges associated with teaching STEM in a post-COVID classroom and a growing demand for students pursuing STEM-related careers, educators are actively exploring inventive approaches to enrich and diversify the resources for their classroom,” said S.D. Science Teaching Association president Ashley Armstrong.
The 2024 SD STEM Ed Conference, themed “Linking Understanding & Learning” unites over 250 educators from elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels alongside professionals from diverse STEM industries and fields.
