SPOKANE, Wash. — Bob Hegg, 61, of Spokane, Wash., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018, from sepsis, a result of bacterial meningitis, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
He has been cremated; and a celebration of his life will be held in Huron this spring or summer.
Bob was born in Huron to Don and June Hegg. He attended and graduated from Huron High School. His quick wit was loved by everyone and his positive outlook was contagious. He had the ability to bring a smile to everyone’s face and often left people with a stomach ache from laughter. Like everyone else Bob had his ups and downs but you never heard about his downs – he strived to be positive and focus on others instead of himself. He had a big heart and loved making others happy.
He is survived by his daughters, Corrie (Chad) Ballard, and Lindsey Hegg; siblings, Cathie Hegg, Carole (Durand) Brewster, Rich Hegg, and Jodi (Roger Bjork) Starnes; aunt, Eleanor (Jack) Peterson; many cousins; four nephews; one niece; and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harlyn and Gladys Hedblom, and Arnold and Alice Hegg; and uncles, Harlyn John and Blake Hedblom, and Jerry Hegg.
