CARPENTER — Brad Lee Brede, 53, of Carpenter, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at his home of natural causes.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at the Carpenter Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery of rural Carpenter.
Brad Lee Brede was born August 24, 1965, to Charles Richard and Sherry A. (Board) Brede. He
attended school at Willow Lake. After his schooling he enlisted into the United States Army from 1984 to 1988. During this time he obtained his GED. He returned to the Carpenter area where he assisted area farmers, especially Galen Waldner.
He loved to fish, especially at Lake Byron. Another pastime of his was hunting pheasants and going out to the “unknown areas” to find asparagus. He helped his parents at the cafe, his mother teaching him to make potato soup. He was of great help at the Carpenter Community Center.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Brent and Troy Brede both of Carpenter, Stacy (Rick) Walter of Plattsmouth, Neb.; and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and a brother, Joel.
