HURON — Junior Baht Eh Khin of Huron earned second team all-state honors from the South Dakota High School Soccer Coaches Association.
“The team really depended on him to score goals and lead us on the field,” Huron coach Leah Branaugh said. “He is very deserving of this award. I am hoping this is the starting point for a great offseason and push into his senior year next year.”
Eh Khin was the team leader for the Tigers with 19 goals scored and five assists.
“I don’t know that many other AA players who had that type of season with that many goals scored against tough competition.,” Branaugh said. “He was one of our team captains and was really able to showcase his skills this season.”
