ABERDEEN — The Huron competitive cheer and dance teams opened the season with fourth-place finishes during the Aberdeen Central Spirit Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers recorded a score of 221, with just three deductions to finish fourth in the competitive cheer event.
Sioux Falls Roosevelt, which had zero deductions, was first with a 285.50, while Harrisburg was second at 238. Sioux Falls Washington was third at 232, followed by Huron and Brookings at 220.50 to round out the top five in the 11-team event.
