THREE FORKS, Mont. — Pete Hofer, 83, of Three Forks, Mont., passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, near Sayre, Okla. following a motorcycle accident.
Pete was born January 10, 1936, in Ryley, Alberta, Canada to Jacob and Elizabeth Hofer. The family moved to a farm North of Chester Montana. He attended bible college before entering the mission field with Open Air Campaigners on the streets of Chicago. He was united in marriage to Fanny Crosby of Carlisle, N.Y. in 1966. He started a television ministry for the Montana Television Network, KRTV, of Great Falls Mt. He spoke at bible camps, held evangelistic meetings and was a guest speaker at country churches across Montana, Southern Alberta and the Northern United States.
He is survived by his wife Fanny; children, Timothy (Monica) of Los Angeles Calif., Matthew (Mónica) of Yukon Okla, and Elizabeth (Bob) of Spokane Valley Wash.; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Herbert (Laura), Jack, Joe (Ruth), Marvin and John.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kathrenia, Elizabeth, and Edward.
